Our spacious three-bedroom beach house, along with inviting studio units, has been lovingly named Hale Nani Ma Ka Lihi Kai, meaning "Beautiful Home at the Ocean’s Edge." This cherished name was bestowed upon us by esteemed Kumu Hula who grace us with their presence each year during the renowned Merrie Monarch Hula Festival held in Hilo.

You will appreciate the convenience of being only steps away from the ocean and sandy shores, where sunbathing and swimming await. The nearby tide pools offer a captivating experience as you watch turtles thrive along the cliffs and dolphins frolic in the distance. This vintage Kama’aina beach home features an upstairs one-bedroom unit, a two-bedroom unit below, and a cozy adjoining studio. Inside the upstairs unit, you'll find a queen bed in the bedroom along with a comfortable queen futon sofa sleeper in the living room. The full kitchen and bath are complemented by two inviting living areas and a large patio overlooking a tranquil pond and garden. While ceiling fans circulate the tropical air, air conditioning provides relief on those warm Hawaiian nights. The downstairs unit includes a kitchenette featuring a microwave and refrigerator, a combined living and dining area, a full shower bath, and two bedrooms—one furnished with a full-size bed and the other with a queen.

The walkway leads to the charming studio unit, which boasts a complete kitchen and living/dining area, alongside a shower bath. This space also accommodates a queen bed and a full-size futon sofa sleeper for additional comfort.
